Jane, How about those men’s short programs last night? The top 3 definitely deserved to be there. I loved Daisuke’s program; what verve, what talent, what musicality!
I haven’t watched the whole thing yet. I’m trying desperately to get things recorded and onto DVD before Tivo wipes them out, so I’m running about a day behind. Carolyn feels too rotten to sit up and watch so we’ll probably “do” the Olympics when we get back from SanDiego. I did see Evan’s and he was, I have to admit, magnificent. The routine leaves me a bit cold, but it does everything it needs to to win. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so emotional after a skate. Considering the score he got even without the quad, Plushy might well be in trouble.
I felt horrible for Jeremy. I was watching from bed and turned it off after he popped his 3-axel. :(
