I believe the problem is solved. Somehow that code got inserted into my theme’s header.php file. I zapped it and the source code and display appear to be fine now. My thanks to you all, and especially to Jaakko for putting me onto the problem in the first place.
YOU GUYS RAWK!

Mischief managed? You’ll not be showing on the map any more, then! :-)
Glad you’ve been able to sort out the problem.
Ummmm….if someone could reassure a novice……I have IMac and MacBook do I need to be concerned? Everything *looks* good here.
My deepest sympathy to you, CJ, OSG and other friends, on the loss of your friend.
Thank you, very much.
No need to worry. These things are designed to manipulate search engines into legitimizing the sites injected into the code, not to do anything to users.
You should change the password to your wordpress mssql database to prevent it from happening again.
Cute avatar!
Thanks very much. I changed my passwords first thing. (Actually, I eliminated the default “admin” access which, as I understand it, is the route a lot of these things use. Been meaning to do that anyway.)
The avatar is Mr. Schmooze.

Oh, how cute! And I love the bio. (Everybody go check it out!)
So sorry about Bounder. That’s tough. Even tho you had a good long while together, which is a wonderful thing…the problem is you had a good long time together. Leaves quite a hole in your life and routine.
I love their motto…
Yea!
So glad!
