Beautiful pic, Jane…..looks magical!
Happy New Year May all that is best for you, CJ and Lynn….and indeed all…..happen in this new year!
Gorgeous! The lighting is perfect, and I love the way you frame the shot with the light in the upper left hand corner and the roof and ground lines leading the eye toward the waterfall (which looks exquisite under its snow cap). The light in the lantern is enchanting!
I’m presently reading Ring of Destiny (wonderful!) and will be seeing the second installment of The End of Time (squeee!).
Wishing you and Carolyn a Happy New Year (and many more)!

Thanks! It was tempting to just post a closeup of the lantern, but I love total effect. Besides OSG took a much better closeup than I did. I just can’t get the camera to focus like it used to, and my eyes aren’t up to doing it manually any more. Sigh…
I haven’t watched End of Time yet. I didn’t want to watch the first part til I had both!
I’m SUCH a fan of the Tennant doctor. By far and away the best other than Dr Tom, IMO.
Is the area just in front of the waterfall where the heater is? I’m squinting at it, and can’t quite make out if that is a patch of open water…
Both the Baker Dr. and the Tennant one have a certain devil-may-care attitude, which is probably to be expected from a near immortal. I much prefer it to the favored alternative trope, a Zen smugness I find fairly annoying.
